Importing Your Memory

How to export from ChatGPT, Claude, Obsidian, and Notion.

ChatGPT

1. Settings → Data Controls → Export Data
2. Click "Export." OpenAI emails a download link
3. Download the ZIP. Inside is conversations.json
4. Drag into the Velqua Import tab

Claude

1. Settings → Export Data
2. Choose JSON format
3. Download the export file
4. Drag into the Velqua Import tab

Obsidian (Pro)

In the Import tab, select "Obsidian Vault." Choose your vault folder. Velqua scans all markdown files for personal context and builds a semantic map alongside your conversation facts.

Notion (Pro)

Export your Notion workspace as Markdown & CSV. Drag the export folder into Velqua.

What happens after import

• Dedup — near-duplicate messages removed
• Extract — personal facts identified from conversation context
• Score — each fact quality-scored (HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW)
• Filter — low-confidence facts discarded
• Embed — facts embedded into the vector index
